Hi! Total vMix newbie here so bear with me.
I am planning to setup an easy to work off tube commentary station with these workflow requerements: - Input a clean feed video stream (srt, rtmp, tcp aviable as formats) with environment audio (only one source needed) - Add a commentary voice - Add basic graphics as scoreboard, team roosters etc - Instant replay capture with editable in and out points before displaying - Replays saved to file to run highlights in breaks and afterward compile a highlight video mp4 file. - Encode a program livestream to rtmp, srt or tcp
This must be able to run and comprehend by a single person with limited or no experience with video mixing software.
Vill vMix work for this, which licenses is needed and what will it cost?
Thanks in advance for any input regarding this.

Thanks in advance for any input regarding this. That's what vMix is for :-) Plenty of good video tutorials on the vMix Youtube page Due to the Instant replay requirement need at least the 4K lisence (see the vMix Software Comparison Table on their website) . Can try free full functional demo though for 60 days

As mentioned "full functional demo" or trial = pro/max version

But it looks like instant replay is a separate product when I browse the vMix product pages?

Download and install the free trial and play is the best way as not everything is/can be covered in help and tutorials due to the flexibility of it

Thanks in advance for any input regarding this. Everything you say can be done. But "by a single person with limited or no experience with video mixing software" is difficult. You have to study a lot to be able to do all this you say without mistakes. Especially for replay and for graphics (for example to add +1 point in a title, change graphics on the fly etc) maybe you`1l need to study a bit of scripting to do this at the right time and moment without mistakes
