I am currently successfully using a VMix system using an AMD processor, the Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro AC, a 1660Ti Graphics card, and the BMD DeckLink Duo 2 SDI card.
The Gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro AX has PCIe X16 slots configured to operate in X8/X8 mode off of the processor and one X16 slot configured to operate at X4 off of the chip set. Being a moderately priced motherboard, has anyone had success running this motherboard with a BMD DeckLink Quad 2? I'm looking for suggestions and positive experience with such a combination. I was considering pairing the motherboard with a 3070Ti graphics card and a 5950X processor.
I have been very disappointed that most the newest motherboards for the latest and greatest processors aren't offering an X8/X8 configuration.
