Hello together,

i'm trying to Connect a Canon CR N300 via Visca protocol, but it seems not to work.
I can control the camera via browser from the same laptop. But when im entering the IP into the PZT Field in Vmix it says "Could not Connect"
Does anybody hat the same issues or has a clue what to do?

Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

The CR-N300 supports PTZ control using Sony VISCA over IP in vMix. So, provided you have the camera connected to your network via ethernet, and the camera and your vMix PC share the same subnet (first three numbers match, such as 192.168.1.X) you should be able to connect to it. If you are still having trouble. Send us an email (maybe with a screenshot of your PTZ settings page in vMix) at support@vmix.com and we can dig a little deeper.

Thanks for your answer.
The subnet was the Problem. While I was able to Connect to the camera via browser Vmix hat an issue with the different subnets.
Wow it works as expected!
