Hi,

currently checking for new Laptops. We broke it down to two models

Lenovo Thinkpad T15p (i7-12700H) with a RTX3050(4GB,DDR6)
Lenovo Thinkpad P15v (i7-12800H) with a RTX A2000(4GB,DDR6)

Theses Laptops should be used with vMix to do Streaming and Recording functions, not gaming at all.

So as far as i know, the A2000 (quadro) does not have a limitation on the count of encoding engines right?
We do a lot of recording, lately more often in H.265/NVEC for each input and also the output.
And/or streaming to one or more destinations.

My guess is that the RTX A2000 would be the better choice here, what are the experts saying?

Thank you very much!

Best regards, Martin

Yes, the A2000 ranks slightly below the RTX 3060 but above the RTX 3050 and so would be the "better" choice.
