Hi to all
I'm having hard times connecting an usb action camera (apeman A79) to vMix. I would connect it like a webcam via usb. windows see it, I have video feed in the windows app, I can add it into vMix like any other camera, but it gives me black feed.
I have a BMD Decklink duo2 with 3 inputs and 1 output working perfectly fine.

Can anyone please have an idea of what I'm doing wrong?

It may be using a compression format that is not supported by vMix.
Does it have an HDMI out?
Or does it otherwise work in OBS via USB?
(if so, it might be a viable workaround)

Indeed it has a (micro) HDMI out, I could add a capture device and do it that way.
I didn't tried obs, There is already a lot of stuff going on on that PC...
The thing is I don't really need that camera, It's a surplus and it coud be useful as beauty cam, but only if it's a simple hookup-and-go job...
I was wondering why, if I can see it in windows and vMix allows me to add it, i can get an image out of it...
I did think about codecs myself indeed, I surfed a little bit, but I could find nothing...
