VMix to VMix with HD Basic and Vix4K

Good Day,
I have a weekly streamed show where my Cohost is located in a different location than mine. I want to get the best possible Video and Audio quality from his camera so I am thinking of going VMix to VMix for his feed. Can he use VMix HD Basic on his end and I would use VMIX 4K on my end? Would this setup work for what I want to accomplish? Tim mentioned using VMix HD Basic in one of his videos but I don't see VCall listed on HD Basic. What I am looking for is a simple solution on my Cohosts end so he can connect with the best 1080 quality. I would setup the VMix call on my end.

Yes works with VMix Basic HD. VMix Basic HD can only send calls, not receive them.
The Caller can "Connect to Call" with vMix Basic HD (or any edition of vMix)
The Host needs to have vMix HD or above

Another free of charge option is to use NDI Bridge or SRT.
