Hi all,
We are in the process of creating some new 4k mobile labs and also plan to use this setup to inform a pending upgrade of our board room and also add 4 PTZs / camera control. We purchased the lab equipment and road case, cameras, computer, decklink 8k pro housed in a rackmountable sonnet III, 4k vmix license etc but are running into issues with no SDI signal.
We recently purchased 3 Studio Camera 4k pros and planned to use the SDI out on the camera to run directly into a new decklink 8k pro card then switch in VMIX 4k.
I am getting nothing outputting from the cameras (black screen in vmix). The BM 8K card is correctly configured in desktop video setup for 4 inputs and Vmix is not kicking them out while trying to get create the inputs (ie can see the decklink and not receiving a not supported error)
What am I doing wrong / missing? Thank you in advance for your time and advice!

You're outputting a 4K signal, not 1080, right?
If you're 4k make sure you have a 12G cable.
If you're 1080 try changing the SDI level to A instead of B.
Can you get an input using any other software such as OBS?

Hi! Yes, the cameras output 4k and we are using a 12-g sdi. Upon restarting a few times, we are able to get video on the input BUT there is significant lag on the input and the audio is blinking out on the VU. Has anyone had any success with an issue like this? The camera itself doesn't have any in-menu output settings for SDI and I can get a video image on 1080 or 4k (in 29.97/30/60, etc) but the stutter / lag on the input persists.

The decklink 8K pro is a PCIe x8 capture card. Thunderbolt 3 only supports x4 PCIe lanes so you are only getting half of necessary bandwidth. (thunderbolt 4 only supports 1 lane)
