Now and then, the Facebook Live integration stops working. In Streaming Settings, the FB info is blank. I can click the Login to Facebook button and it completes successfully, but the Status in VMix remains Not logged in. The fields remain blank. Then mysteriously, some weeks later, it starts working again as normal. In the mean time, we revert to the FB Live Producer which is more manual. Some clues as to why this is happening? How can I troubleshoot this? We're using v25.0.0.32 but this has happened in previous v25 versions.

update:
today another update was auto-installed by windows update and this fixed the issue above...
seriously, this kind of thing is realy anoying, you never know when an update can cause issues to your production.
Microsoft need to think and act fast to recover the customer confidence.
another thing, i noticed that the option "Disable windows updates" is not working correctly, for some reason a few updates are installed once vmix is running.
cheers,
melody

It seems unlikely that a Windows update is at fault here. VMix makes this connection to FB directly. The Tech Advisor article is generic in nature and while annoying, has no information related to this issue even in other platforms. My Win11 Pro is up to date and still intermittently suffering from this issue.

Is there really just a couple people experiencing this? I've tried multiple browsers including Chrome which was installed fresh on this computer, which was itself a recently fresh install of Windows. Screenshot 2022-11-20 101956.png (57kb) downloaded 1 time(s).

I always recommend using the custom rtmp manual settings and not the integration if you face any difficulties. Have you tried that while the integration wasn't working.

That’s what I’m doing. I want help to understand (and solve) why the integrated option isn’t working. It's highly advantageous over the rtmp approach for volunteers because it’s a button press.
