Currently running one 1080P stream to FB live using a RTSP stream into vMix. Getting another camera donated that will replace the current one and was wondering if I should keep using a RTSP stream or do something different, video card, etc. We use a laptop for portability so that may cause an issue for a video card. The camera being donated is a SMTAV BA30S if that helps.Thoughts? Thanks

Does your laptop have USB 3.0? If so, does it have the specs to handle a USB capture card?

It does have USB 3.0. As for Specs for a USB capture card, guess it depends on which card.

Something such as the very reliable Magewell USB Capture HDMI Gen 2 should work well. The SDI version would work with the SMTAV BA30S. Perhaps you can find one on eBay.

There are other reliable USB capture devices. Check out the compatible ones on the vMix Supported Hardware page that would fit your budget.
