I know the best vMix Intel Chipset is X299.
That Chipset is long in the tooth and I would like to build on a Gen4 PCI board for much faster M.2 NVME specifically for Replay.
Is there a current Chipset recommendation for Intel that is "modern".
Ideally I could find a small form factor Mainboard that I could add a GPU and Capture Card via PCIe.
If the Mainboard has 3 M.2 I could always do a GPU and an M.2 capture device.
Thank you for any recommendations.

x299 is still great, look at the specs on most capture cards, they are pcie 2.0 x2 . i am using many setups, just get a asus board with thunderbolt 4 or asrock is good also. you need the thunderbolt 4, because your very limited with expansion with these small boards. I have a system with this board. https://www.asrock.com/m...B4/index.us.asp#Overview and it works great! i also have a high end X299 rig. It all depends on how much devices you need, you can really hook alot up, if you read all the stuff in the manual and know how the chipset works.
