For my recent events in 2022/H1 I had to script a few missing major functionalities for vMix: auto-sidechain for microphone ducking and translator voice-over, pre-render/flatten of inputs through reused intermediate Mix inputs, real cloning of arbitrary inputs and all their information, on-the-fly NDI source reconfiguration, automatic control of titles on layers of scene inputs, remote control of the stream in NDI Studio Monitor, remote control of PowerPoint slides via Remote Show Control, and smooth virtual PTZ for greenscreen-based productions.

You can now get all of my production solutions as cleaned up and documented VB.Net 2.0 scripts under a permissive MIT license at https://github.com/rse/vmix-scripts/. Feel free to reuse and adjust them for your own vMix productions. Or just poke around in my scripts and borrow parts of them for your own scripting purposes, as these scripts IMHO are one of the cleanest examples of vMix VB.Net scripts flying around on the net.

Happy scripting!
