This isn't so much a feature request, as a 'crash preventative' measure.
During a taping, I accidentally tried to add a camera that was already enabled. (I realize this was a stupid thing to do, but I was attempting to set up a dual camera (picture in picture) and wasn't sure how to go about it.)
This caused a major software crash in the middle of a taping.
Granted it was purely my fault... my question is this:
Is it possible to add a 'feature' that prevents a user from adding a camera that is already in use? Ideally, the object being, instead of a crash (resulting in a lost recorded segment), VMIX only gives you an illegal operation popup, or error message telling the user they are trying to add a camera that is already active?
Just a thought. Thanks for a great piece of kit!

I sort of have the same problem. When using the Decklink Quad card, the ports are not the same each time you reboot. When adding "Camera Inputs", if you add the same one twice, it does cause problems and you have to delete them both and re-add it. If the port is already active, a simple pop-up to read "Camera Port already in use" would be nice :) Not a top priority but would certainly be nice and prevent any such problems from occurring.
