I want to configure my XKey XK-12 to do three things on vMix output.

1) Button to zoom in

2) Joystick to pan left, right, up, and down

3) Button to zoom out

I have a Stream Deck and lots of vMix shortcuts. I know how to program buttons to create shortcuts.

And I know I need to use Virtual PTZ and I have explored this option and read the help file, but I can not figure out the pieces of the puzzle. Can someone give me some guidance to meet my objectives, please?

Thank you in advance,
DJ

@ DJLTC

A) What is the nature of the Input you are using (Virtual Sets do not work with Virtual PTZ as they have their own PTZ feature)
B) This video might provide some insight on using Shortcuts:

You just helped me so much! I wish the video covered Virtual PTZ, but it doesn't. You helped by stating that virtual sets do not work with virtual ptz. That was the key! I provide Microsoft Excel training online and now I have a smooth zoom in and out for my screen while panning simultaneously. Woo hoo!

Thank you for taking a moment from your day to reply to my inquiry. Much appreciated!
