Hi,
There are three different resolution options in vMix, can you check they are all the same?
1. The resolution in Settings 2. The resolution of the Camera 3. The resolution of the Recording
Make sure they all match the resolution you have set for the camera and try recording to Mpeg2 with the highest bitrate (50Mb)
Also, what graphics card are you using?
Thanks,
martin vMix

Hi,
There appears to be a quality issue when recording to a different resolution than the output. This will be fixed in the next release, but in the mean time if you will be recording to 1280x720 make sure the Output Size in settings is also set to 1280x720.
Regards,
Martin vMix

Hi,
A small amount of aliasing in the previews is to be expected as vMix prioritises the high quality rendering for the video output.
If you set the output size in settings to 1280x720 and the recording to 1280x720 the aliasing in the recording will be gone. (You will need to restart vMix after changing the settings)
Regards,
Martin vMix

Hi Martin, -you said "A small amount of aliasing in the previews is to be expected as vMix prioritises the high quality rendering for the video output". ok why not :) ... -I agree at 1280x720 recorded at 50mb there is no aliasing But, The thing was interesting for me in Vmix is to record SD pal mpeg2 then burn it to dvd just after mixing (conference for exemple) ..the 720p 50mb will take lot of time to burn DVD and in the same time using the external output with hd recorder (ex : atamos ninja, samourai). So I will wait for the next release. Beyond that, Vmix is in my top list, including great features. by the way some suggestions for the future releases : -dockable windows on the main Vmix windows for the audio mixer, shortcuts pad..etc. -possiblity to use an external controller with the shortcuts for exemple : http://www.thomann.de/fr/novation_launchpad.htm http://www.thomann.de/fr...0006f0c7758e883882efd665-direct access in main window to zoom, wipe, slide transition. (button for each) thanks again, Sofiane
