Was thinking it would be useful to add a function that imports and applies a shortcut template, and another function to import a new activator file

With those two functions, along with a function to change the currently selected category, and an activator that indicates the current category would form the bulk of what we would need to implement bank switching on an external controller

One more "new" feature would be a global triggers option, which would have a trigger for "on category change", which could be used to assign a dynamic script that calls the above functions

There may well be other global triggers you add for other reasons over time
