Since we are having more and more content (100+hours) with slash9.tv, we would like to start a 24/7 broadcast on ustream and livestream.com with our recorded material.
We have over 100 video's, each between 1 hour and 3 hours long. We would like to find some kind of software where we can make a simple playlist with our video's and where we can easily add our new material to be streamed on 1 or more streaming websites.
I know there is a playout server for vmix, but it seems like it is very complicated, especialy with so much material. Is there an easy solution where we can just add our new material to a playlist?

I have considered it, but it looks like it is difficult to program: none of our movies has a length of say 40 minutes and 0 seconds. all of them have lengths like : 1 hour, 43 minutes and 23 seconds. This would make it a pain in the ass to playout +100 videos and 10-15 extra every week. If there would be something like a playlist, without having to define start and end time it would be easier to add videos.

Might have to purchase another license for vmix, since this will be running 24/7 from our office ;)

There is just one thing that i miss from scheduler: an option to loop the playlist. Now i have to keep on adding video's, since these playlists are supposed to be running 24/7.

I think you should look seriously at Broadcast Play as suggested above. It's 400 euro, based on CasparCG, reliable, and we have been running it 24hours for almost a year.
You can run all your pre-recorded stuff, although you need to make sure it is encoded in a constant bitrate format. It's a bit sensitive to that and audio sync drifts otherwise. But this is a function of Caspar, rather than BP.
You can insert live content from vMix.
You can add what's on next graphics, bugs and a rolling ticker.
Can't recommend it enough.

Can't recommend it enough. I'm looking into it now and indeed it looks very interesting and especially reliable. The only drawback to me seems the hardware that it needs. We are now running vmix (free version) + scheduler on an old laptop to test if there is any interest on livestreaming websites for our channel. If we see that our 24/7 broadcasts are a succes, we will probably switch to this solution, since it looks like it's really reliable. The cost for an extra computer and license is a bit high right now, but if we get some traction with our broadcasts it's probably the first thing on our list to buy!
