Hi -

So glad this is out - Just got my licensing sorted today, so it's full steam ahead!

I absolutely LOVE being able to use the virtual audio capture - just need to finesse what's going on with it.

I'm running Decklink Studio Pro, input SDI from a EXDCAM deck, and I am getting early audio when using the VAC in FMLE 3.2

But again, SUPER excited about what we can now produce with this tool!

When trying to use the new vMix audio capture device in FMLE 3.2 on Win 7 ultimate 64-bit, I got the following message: "vMixVirtualAudioCapture is not supported by this version of Windows".

Also when I try to record using MPEG2 compression and vMix Virtual Audio device, there is no sound.

Could the problem be associated with the fact that Im using VAC and also in vMix audio out is routed through VAC? (there is no option to chooce vMix virtual audio device)

Hi Dundurs,

This message means you are running Flash Media Live Encoder using a compatibility mode that is not Windows 7.
To check this right click the FMLE icon and go to Properties and make sure compatibility mode is not enabled under the Compatibility tab.

The no sound issue is due to VAC, The vMix Virtual Audio Capture will only work if you have selected Default DirectSound Device in vMix settings.

Regards,

Martin

Unfortunately in rare cases of unknown reason FMLECMD crashes if compatibility mode with Windows XP SP3 is not activated, thereore I must use it.

Have you tried running FMLECMD as "Run this program as Administrator" instead of compatibility mode?
That might fix the issue as well.

Martin

Followed your advice and tried running fmlecmd as an administrator, but it did not help.

The funny thing is that on one computer it does not crash, on an identical computer it crashes. I also tried disabling all audio/video devices and it did not help and Adobe forum is not very responsive. Hence my only option is to run it in Win XP SP3 compatibility mode for now.

I'm testing three different hardware on the laptop. I have a "Blackmagic shuttle," a "avermedia volar XPro," two "Hauppauge USB-Live2." So I'm getting four entries. Could not work with four "Blackmagic shuttle" on the laptop because of the bandwidth limit, but I'll try to break this barrier by installing 'Blackmagic shuttle "in a desktop and use a PCIe card with 4 outputs dedicated USB3 promises to 5GB / s in each port totaling 20GB / s.
In the 2012 version V2 Vmix the laptop could only get the audio from a USB-Live when the two are working simultaneously. Perhaps "Dundur" can help me.
Martin, more effects transition in the new version vmix is possible?

Sincerely,

Mauro.

Sorry, could you please explain what do you mean by "when the two are working simultaneously"?
Did you mean two hauppauge devices working simultaneously and only one produces sound?

In that case make sure that you:
1. Downloaded the latest driver from http://www.hauppauge.com...rt/support_usblive2.html Check if the driver on bottom of the page might be newer than the package on top of the page.
2. Added the correct audio input, because there might be two audio inputs available. Use the following input in vMix: "Analog Audio In (X - Hauppauge...", where X stands for ID of the haupauge device
3. Make sure that you didnt add the same audio input twice, but each time a different audio input

I can confirm that we have a configuration with two audio inputs working at the same time on Win 7 64bit Ultimate.

Hello, Martin,

I just updated driver for my HDMI input card to the version 1.30 (available here http://www.timeleak.com....&pnid=4&ps_aid=7 ) and vMix no longer is able to add the card as an input (see the screenshot here http://i2.tiesraides.lv/...12-01-19_clipboard02.jpg and I also sent you an error report via vMix interface).

There are some useful fixes in lates driver version 1.30, hence was wondering if you could please enable it to work with vMix.

Thanks,
Dundurs

P.S. Version 1.30 Beta works just fine with vMix

Hi Dundurs,

That error is a device driver error so it looks like the new drivers are not working in the system at all.
Can you confirm the card does not work in FMLE directly either?

Thanks,

Martin

I checked that in FMLE the new drivers work well and video input is displayed.

I can only suggest then playing around with the resolution/system(framerate) settings as the drivers are failing when given the "start" command from vMix.

Hi dundur,
Hauppauge is working perfect now. Before I was doing something wrong.
I bought an expresscard and put the laptop to increase your USB ports. Also put a HUB. My laptop is like a Christmas tree. Monday I will test a product that sends signal from the HDMI cable to "cat6 network cable." Thanks for the help.

This card is good Timeleak? Purchase direct Timeleak.con.cn the site?
I need solution for "videomachine laptop." I'm still not happy, I want to improve. I've talked to have the plates. I bought Hauppauge live-2 at his suggestion. I also have four Blackmagic shuttle, but uses a lot of bandwidth.

Sincerely,

Mauro Cesar

We have used Timeleak once in production and planning to use at least 6x3h for the next 4 weeks. So far we have had no problems, but as you see we havent done enough hours to be certain that it is reliable.
Bought it on eBay.com.

I searched and not found. You can send a product link on ebay or the store name to my email maurovalpa@yahoo.com.br or post here if allowed.

Martin,

Just plugged the HDMI output of my "Blackmagic suttle" on an LCD monitor and set the "external monitor", but the material is not displayed. Only displays the output on the LCD monitor if I use HDMI or VGA laptop. the output signal of hdmi "Blackmagic suttle" is different from the hdmi output laptop?
