Is it possible to get the photo slideshow to automaticaly refresh the folder contents. Either montior the folder for changes or a timmer for it to refresh.
I have new images added to a folder during a slideshow and would be nice if it would automatically update, or at least be able to trigger a refresh from a remote device.

Yes, that would be a great feature for us as well! We have a network folder that we keep announcements in, so to have it automatically update with any photos in that folder would be awesome.

very old topic - is there any way this could be accomplished at any point? In an upcoming project this feature would be really helpful.

it's just the slideshow that would be grate if there was an auto update... maybe this can be achieved with a function upon loading the input. I get, that maybe not everyone want's this option. But it would be nice if it could monitor the folder for updated and additional files...
it works flawless to update a single picture, but it does not check for newly added files...
