Put tiny video previews on the Audio Mixer's Record Outputs - so this way we can easily double check, verify, that the channels we THOUGHT we had selected to record are indeed the channels we are recordng - esoecally since vMix doesn't track output channels changes when there is a change in the input list (reorder, deletion, addition) which can me an output be recording the whole input, for 8 hours straight. vmix.png (794kb) downloaded 1 time(s).

                +1
I would also submit, that an indicator be shown on the inputs being recorded, similar to the overlay indicator.
If something similar could be applied for the multicorder, that would be great!
Maybe a dedicated group tab showing all inputs currently being output somewhere with an indicator of which output they're going to.

+1. Nothing worse than accidentally recording the wrong input in an output.

Don't get it , what if the recording audio is not that of the input ?
Anyway the inputs used in the various output settings can be retrieved with a vMix script

Anyway the inputs used in the various output settings can be retrieved with a vMix script When selecting an input for a recording output, typically the audio for that input goes with it. You'll be able to see the activity on the meter right next to the tiny preview. While something _could_ be retrieved with a script- why not just have vMix show the video being recorded since it's already showing the audio levels of the recording, and there's blank space where the video could be. You know- like it was MADE for a small video preview.
