Hi

I have the following set up:

PC Win 7 with Vmix HD
Decklink quad for camera input
Intensity Card for HDMI Programm Output

If I stream now and upload over the flash media encoder a multibiterate like this:
1. 1280/720, 3 MB Bitrate
2. 960/544, 1.8 MB Bitrate
3. 640/360, 1.2 MB Bitrate

the cpu of my pc are almost 100%. To much for one pc.

What I plan to do:

I will buy a second pc with a strong intel processor (cpu should be max 70% during upload). A intensity card for input the stream from pc 1.
On this new pc I work with the flash media encoder and make only the upload.

Can everyone recommend me which cpu-processor I should buy and generally what you think about my plan.

Thanks!

Regards Patrick

A Dell Precision workstation computer with dual quad cpu's is fairly inexpensive used (depending on where you live). Even the older ones would do very well at handling your needs. Something like this...

Ebay Precision 490

Would want a better graphics card, but otherwise that system would be wishing it had more things to do while it does your transcoding.
