I would like to change the order of the volume controls in VMix to suit my external X-Touch control panel and sound engineer. Naturally I have already selected the order of video inputs to suit the director.

Aren't they in the same order as your inputs are?

Exactly. I have the inputs in the order I need for the video but I need to alter the audio faders separately.

You are not alone! This has been asked for and discussed over the years (hard to search for, I just tried). One example here (more like traditional):

Since it has not been made possible, I fear it will unfortunately never be. Although some improvements (like hiding audio inputs) have been done. But, who knows - we might be surprised again to find that "will not happen" actually happens :D
