RODECaster Pro Gain Issue in vMix

I recently purchased a RODECaster Pro to upgrade from a Focusrite 2i2. Using the RODECaster as an interface to Windows 10 seems to have some strange gain / audio level issues in vMix. Levels on the RODECaster look fine and sound fine. But when I add the RODECaster as an audio input in vMix, the audio is pegging at 0 dB. RODE support claims that this is a "feature" of their Windows driver, to allow users to have the option of boosted gain in Windows. Their recommendation is to decrease the Device Volume in Windows, typically as low as 58%, to normalize the gain to match the RODECaster device levels. I'm not a fan of this, but I've tested this in Audacity, setting the "Recording Volume" to 58%, and it seems to be manageable, giving me levels that are similar to what I see on the RODECaster. (see screen shot) Audacity1.jpg (51kb) downloaded 0 time(s).However, this does not seem to work the same in vMix. First, the Device Volume in vMix apparently needs to be quite a bit higher than the 58% value that I'm able to use in Audacity--but that's fine, I can adjust accordingly. But the issue I'm having is that even after adjusting the RODECaster "Post" levels to be good, the vMix Master audio levels are still pegged, just like the Pre levels on the RODECaster. (see screen shot) vMixAudio1.jpg (124kb) downloaded 0 time(s).I've also tried adjusting the 'Mixer' slider in the vMix Audio Mixer interface, but I'm seeing the same results. Even though the RODECaster audio input level seems okay, the vMix Master levels are much higher and hitting 0 dB. vMixAudio2.jpg (28kb) downloaded 1 time(s).Why aren't the vMix "Master" levels the same as the adjusted RODECaster audio input levels in vMix? Is there a setting I'm missing that is bypassing the Device Volume / Gain settings?
