We are planning on purchasing a Honey Optics 12x PTZ camera for use at church and with vMix.
We are also purchasing a joystick controller to pan, tilt, zoom the camera and do not expect PTZ functions from vMix since we have only purchased the HD version.
My question is will vMix even allow me to add the camera as an input since it's a PTZ camera?
I suppose I should have investigated this before pulling the trigger on the purchase of the camera in case we have to upgrade vMix too.

The Camera itself should work fine with vMix, it's just the vMix PTZ Control feature (Shortcuts and virtual preset positions) that wont work unless you have vMix 4K or above.
