Thanks: 2 times
I have been testing with v13.0.0.142 and found little difference between turning on or off Fullscreen/Output.
Ex fps:30-31 Render time 0 cpu 1-5% Fullscreen off.
Ex fps:30-31 Render time 1-3ms cpu 1-5% Fullscreen/Output on.

After I loaded up v14.0.0.83, I found when I turned on Fullscreen/Output to be pokey.
Ex fps:30-31 Render time 0-1 ms cpu 1-5% Fullscreen off.
ex fps:27-31 Render time 33-65 ms cpu 2-6% Fullscreen/Output on.

My computer configuration:
HP 820Z
cpu 2x e5-2630
Memory 32gb
Display card NVIDIA K4000
Disk 4x3tb 7200 rpm sata
Raid 10 Striped/Mirrored
o/s Windows 7 64 bit

Update:
I checked both setup and they appear to be identical.

Hi,

Can you double check the settings you are using such as Output Size and Frame Rate
as these may have changed in the upgrade and will affect performance if they are different.

Regards,

Martin

Ah I thought this issue was just me. I also have that and I believe when reverting back to vmix 13 I still have the issue.

Make sure synchronise output with refresh rate is unticked. I check and it was/is unticked. I tried both states, same results as above.

Martin,
Since we are discussing the Fullscreen ouput I have a question. Would it be easy for you to add an option for the "Mouse Pointer" to show (or not to show) on the full screen output?

I have added Njastad's Telestrator SWF file. This will work VERY nicely for me. However, I want to use the Fullscreen option so that my Commentators can view the Telestrator Input in a full screen. They will use a Pen Tablet to input the lines and circles. However, the Fullscreen does not show the mouse pointer so they could not use the Fullscreen monitor for their drawing reference. If you can add the option to show the mouse, pointer, this would solve that problem and this would be one awesome, and very cost effective Telestrator for vMix :)

Right now I have a 19" Monitor in front of them so they see my vMix screen (multiview). I could get a bigger monitor but that will begin to block their view. Ideally I will have 2 19" Monitors in front of them, one is the duplicate of my monitor showing the vMix multiview screen and the 2nd one is the FullScreen Monitor that they would use for reference (drawing) purposes when they telestrate.

Thanks!
Tim
