Hi all,

Hoping there's a simple solution to this that I'm overlooking.
I'm creating multiview layouts that could have 4:3 or 16:9 inputs on them.

Ideally, I want to add 3 x 16:9 boxes on the multiview and whatever source is chosen, zooms to fit that box.

However, when I zoom in on a 4:3 input, the 'excess' image is still visible as shown below.

vMix Capture 15 February 2022 13-24-14.png (3,609kb) downloaded 10 time(s).

I know I could crop the images to match but that takes preparation and manually resetting for every new caller that joins. Ideally, someone should be able to be dropped into a layout and fit within the box.

Virtual sets go some way to fixing the problem but if the input is too big, it can spill into other frames in the set.

Is there an easy fix for different sized sources?

Thanks in advance

Use Mix inputs instead in your MultiLayer or have a Virtual Set with UVmaps

Thanks for the reply, Mix inputs do go a long way to helping with this issue. It's a shame Merge transitions don't work but I can live with that.

Thanks!

They don't work for me. I guess because vMix sees the Mix layer and not the content within it?

Edit: Sorry to clarify, they do work for two layouts with mix layers in. However if I have a layout with man.png in it and I put that into a mix bus, the merge doesn't work. Like I said, this isn't a huge issue.
