Can't Use Certain Font Types

So I have installed fonts both otf and tff, as Adobe creative cloud fonts for whatever reason can not be found in GT. When I go to semi-bold or light it is simply giving me regular or full bold text. Yes I have found and installed the semi-bold and light fonts again both tff and otf file types. Really drawing a blank as to what I could be missing. any assistance would be appreciated. javascript:__doPostBack('forum$ctl03$PostReply','')

did you install them for "all users" ?

I have the same issue. It tried installing the font I need in several ways but vMix never shows me the correct one. Univers LT 65 Bold is the one I need. I installed it for all users and Windows is showing me it correctly. But in vMix I either see some variating like Universe LT 65 BoldOblique or just LT 65 and both look wrong
