As I mentioned here, my workflow is such that I often need other programs maximized & in focus during productions. In those cases, it'd be nice to have the ability to keep the Output window up top & in view, without affecting the other programs that are maximized and in focus, a la Skype or Zoom. If you've ever minimized Skype or Zoom, you know what I'm talking about--the small window that remains on top of everything, but not in focus. It'd be great if we could get a Settings option for the Output window to do that while vMix is minimized. If I'm not mistaken, I believe Skype even allows you to close that window without affecting the meeting itself. As I mentioned, I'll often end up starting a Zoom meeting with myself to be able to monitor things while dealing with other programs, but it's a bit of a convoluted solution, and it becomes more complicated when I'm in a Zoom meeting at the time. I'm looking for an NDI option, as that's currently the only dedicated option available, but even if I get one, it'd still be beneficial to have the option built into vMix, since NDI is (by design) available to everyone/everything on the network (which I don't necessarily want) and there's no real point in adding traffic to the network, as well as bogging down the computer with the encode & decode, for something that's starting & ending on the same machine. It'd be great to get an option for something like this right out of the box for those of us with a lot of things to pay attention to & not enough monitors for all of them.
