This might be a potential bug, but I don't know if I'm just doing it wrong.

Because vMix has no easy option to control individual volume of all list items, I wanted to use an audio plugin that has more or less an advanced auto-volume feature as a workaround. But the plugin disappears after changing the selection of the list.
I found this behavior in v24 as well as in the new v25 preview on several systems.

Am I doing it wrong, or does someone else has the same issue?

I hit this too. It's a limitation of the List input. You have to use an audio bus. Bus the list input to a bus, then put the plugin on the bus.
