We have the following setup:
- 1 central "studio", with two speakers, each with a wireless (Lavalier) microphone
- all audio arrives at a Rodecaster Pro, and is set through USB to the vMix PC
- up to 8 vMix call remote speakers

Obviously, whatever the remote speakers say, needs to be heard by the people in the studio, and not only the vMix audience (the studio guests need to interact with the vMix callers). Therefore, I've put a speaker, connected to an output channel of the Rodecaster in the studio. So basically, vMix sends the audio of vMix calls back to the RodeCaster, which then plays it to the speaker to the studio guests.

This works, but obviously, the sound of the vMix callers, that is played in the studio over the speakers, is picked up again by the lavalier microphones of the studio guests. As a result, the vMix callers hear themselves, in a kind of echo. And even worse, my audience obviously also hears the echo, as the lavalier send them to the Rodecaster, which is the source of my main vMix audio track.

Is there any way to stop this from happening ?

Thanks !

Filip
