Since the feature request on Relative path for inputs (or a Working directory) is still under discussion I am experimenting with different methods to build a new setup based on old productions. One way is to rename the old productions directory (where we keep all graphics, videos, settings, preset, etc) to a new name and then open the old preset. For all Inputs where required content (eg a graphics file) can't be found, vMix promptly opens up a file browser and asks for the correct file. This works pretty well, except for Title Inputs. vMix asks for the missing .xaml file, and assigns it to the corresponding Input. But it seems that the path and name of the background image is also stored in vMix's preset file, and that information is used instead of the path and name defined in the xaml file. So, as a result there is no background image in the Title Input. Current fix is to Change the Input, and specify the very same xaml file. Viola! the background image is found and used. This might also be the case for other images in the xaml file (have not tried). Still, I suspect that vMix's current behavior when opening the xaml reveals a small bug that needs to be fixed. Thanks.
