Hi there, I just did some tests, wiring up
- Blackmagic ATEM - a tough Vmix Machine and a - SDI Sync Signal / Reference Generator plus a distributor
to see if I could succeed in not having source dropped frames or resynced ones on my Decklink 8K Pro inputs. Well - failed.
In the Statistics I observed that Source Dropped frames rose continuosly over time - which tells me that system performance is not the culprit here but the clocks just aren't synced up. Meaning, the setup with reference / sync is not working. But:
- all standards set the same everywhere (1080i50) - ref. signal shows up in decklink driver - ref. signal seems to be accepted by ATEM mixer as it interrupts its outputs as soon as I connect the generator - ATEM not even showing cameras / other inputs - just generic color bars
Do you have any ideas about that? Is it possible at all?
Thanks a lot!
