Like many features in Vmix, playlists are sometimes used in ways that weren't initially intended.
I recognize that playlists were intended to generally run unattended. Manual mode allows "next, next" functionality, but it doesn't handle any deviation from the preset sequence well; requiring you to stop and start the playlist to do that.

I'd like to suggest another manual mode of operation that would; one that allows you to click on any item in the list and see that input in preview (without the playlist running in strict sequence), and then click either a transition that uses the pre-programmed transition for that item (to go to Output) OR allows the user to use any of the general transitions (in the middle) as desired. You could; then continue to use the playlist items in this way or go to the current manual mode of operation or automatic from there.
