Is there a way which anyone can advise on how to display a description of the current replay playing in a loop from an Event as a graphic over the replay.

E.g. If Replay one has the EventText as "First Serve" then First Serve will be shown in text over the replay when it plays?

There seems not to be info available to pull such data based on it except if script would run the events by ID and look up the event name from the replay2.xml

BTW talking event or tag ?

I'm looking to do something similar. I tag each replay with the surfer's name and I would like to have that name displayed as a lower-third overlay when it's being played back. It would be especially useful when playing back multiple replay clips and having the name change to each tag dynamically as the rundown is being played out.

I'm guessing replay tags would need to be in the XML to accomplish something like this?

Seems not much interest not?

But is doable with a script if one takes into account that the tags/descriptions are only updated to the XML file used whne one does a quick start/stop of the IR recording
(tested on a 4K system - 1 Camera)

I agree that this sort of clip metadata ought to be available somewhere at least accessible via scripting.
