Hello! Trying to explain this the best way I can, so here goes.
I am building a production in which I use cloud based graphics as an overlay graphic for a live show. I bring in these graphics using a "Web browser" input and overlay them onto my "camera" inputs using the overlay 2 option. I'm trying to create a set of triggers so when I turn on the overlay for the web browser input, it flies in and the video input shrinks to accommodate the graphics on screen. Basically trying to resize a video input using a trigger. I'm trying to avoid creating a whole new input and merging to that one. Overall, I'm trying to use triggers to bring in one input (Web Browser GFX), while at the same time resizing the currently displayed input (Video) to accommodate the new input (Web Browser GFX). Is this possible? Please help if you can.
Thank you!

Thank you! I was using just the pan option, but adding zoom could be really helpful. Two other things if you could answer. Is there a way to set a reverse delay on the trigger, so the camera input moves back to it's original position as the graphic input moves off? Also do you believe there can be a transition on the set pan so it doesn't hard cut? Thanks so much for your help!

Wondering what the reason is not to merge with a second (resized) input? Reverse delay : no unless one has a time machine (can script the process/order etc) doesn't hard cut: that why one uses Merge between 2 inputs with the same sources ( can simulate that with a script though, zoom and pan in steps) What do you mean by graphics moves off actually move like slide or so or fade (were Merging is of use again for moving in/out using layers)

The Pan and Zoom Triggers are set on the overlay GFX input and don't start until after the "Overlay Off" transition happens. So you see some black screen for a second before the pan triggers. I could use a second resized input, but I have four cameras plus a ton of other elements and I didn't want to crowd the Vmix project, or have to worry about so many steps. How could I go about scripting to help me with, unless you believe it's not possible? Thanks for the help

I think that you would be better off with seperate input that has graphics and video as multiview/layer and then use Merge.
This way you also have preview of what are you going to put live and it will not crowd your project. You can always optimize (videos/overlay graphics in List input for example) and use shortcuts. If you want to switch cameras while you have PIP in live you could use Mix input or switch multiview layers with shortcuts.
With shortcuts, even the largest projects are quite easy and do not feel crowded. One of my clients has a live stream multiple times a week, in total they have 39 inputs which I have configured to be used only using shortcuts, you do not need to touch mouse once during live, everything is labeled and if you run through the show couple of times, everything becomes muscle memory.

Merging Multiviews (Layers) combined with Mix inputs (to change content) can give you nice looking transitions and easily controllable with shortcut and one can define multiple layouts to switch to. Also easy to create (virtual copies) and fine tune their layouts
