Is there a way you can set up Vmix so that when we play the ad it automatically mutes our commentators.
It would be good to not have to turn down our external headset system. It would mean just one less thing to have to do.
Hit play, ad plays and commentators are free to keep chatting?
Regards

Duff, Have you tried turning the follow switch feature on for just the video or you could make a shortcut that would active the player with audio and mute everything else another thought create a trigger to do the same. Ed

Duff, How about triggers?
For your ad player (a video Input I presume) set the following triggers: OnTransitionIn AudioOff [for your commentator's Audio Input] OnCompletition AudioOn [for your commentator's Audio Input]
Of course OnCompletition is not necessary if you want to manually turn commentators on. Make sure to set finetune the video players General settings with respect to "Automatically" functions.
And of course, listen to the audio you send out (in case something is wrong and the commentators babble out ;)

I agree with Egriswold and richardgatarski. There are two ways. You can use shortcut or trigger. As for me trigger is more better.

Thanks guys, I am about to go set up for a big day of streaming 2 grand final aussie rules games here in Australia so hopefully will find a minute to nut that out. Thanks for the tips. Stream will be at www.dufftv.com.au around noon Australian time Saturday.
