I'm preparing a Top500 Radio/TV show. 4 independed decks providing 4 faders with seperate audio for the DJ. Right above you see the DJ Screen, a special multi-layer-view not used for tv out or other screens. He controls the deck by tablet (left above) . When the deck changed to next or previous it loads 4 track ahead or back. But I have to work around a nasty bug... You can't change the input file by script. Manualy you can 'change' the input, not by script. Or do I look something over?? Now I have to make a new source, change it to the good input number, delete the old input (till here in a script) and then change the input on the multi-layer-view also manualy, because that is also not posible in a script (as my knowlage goes). Who can and will help me? Thanks in advance!! 2 Wetransfer links with 11minutes demo of what I'm making (till 1 october 2021) https://we.tl/t-kRyvPlDhLQ and ttps://we.tl/t-IdeXnAcZOV . When link has expired you mcan ask me to upload it again.

That is NOT a bug but a missing feature ;-) have you checked the "SetLayer" function ?

The fact is you have a solution for now ( is why we have scripts possibility) but one can also put in a feature request to add a change input function ( Check if one does not already exist to +1 it) Also consider renaming the new input instead of using numbers in the scripts
