I watched a video on YouTube about adding Google Sheets as a Data Source to vMix. I created my Google Sheet and got the link, created my Google API key. When I try and add everything to vMix I get a 403 Forbidden error message. HELP!!!!

I only learned about Data Sources today, and I had the SAME problem.

You have to ensure you ENABLE the Google Sheets API. It's not enough to generate an API key. If the Google Sheets API isn't enabled, it won't work.

Go into your Developer Console and choose your project, then click ENABLE API'S AND SERVICES... select GOOGLE SHEETS API, and click ENABLE.

That should be it. Put your API key into the Data Sources Manager and away you go.

(Oh yes, you also need to ensure that your GOOGLE SHEET share link is PUBLIC not PRIVATE)

After selecting the Google Sheet you would like to use, click the Share button at the top right. In the Get Link section make sure you click the option for Change to anyone with the link, so that it can be accessed by vMix. Then select the Copy Link text next to the Google Sheets URL. McDVOICE
