Hi all,

Does VMix have built in automatic delay compensation for VST3 Plugins?

I need to use a noise reduction plugin on my Vmix Master bus in order to clean up an old school church electrical system (it's a lot more than just 50Hz hum...).

All of the (decent) NR plugins I've come across, that have a 'learn' feature have latency, except perhaps Wave Arts 'Mr Noise':

Izotope RX8 = 2,047 samples (Price=£289.70)
Voxengo Redunoise = 30,000 samples (no longer sold)
Waves Z-Noise = 34,702 samples (Current Deal £25 for both Z-Noise and X-Noise)
Waves X-Noise = 5,120 samples / 106.6ms (£25 for both Z-Noise and X-Noise)
Acorn Digital De-Noise = 2,560 samples / 53.3ms(Price=£80 for Restoration Suite)
Oxford DeNoiser = 12,028 samples (£175)
Wave Arts Mr Noise = Zero samples (Price=£135)

I'm using VMIX Basic HD with one NDI Camera.

Can anyone tell me whether VMix has ADC (Automatic Delay Compensation)?
Or can I/should I add the delay offset manually?

I'd prefer to buy X-Noise by Waves, due to both the price and results but even with X-Noise there is 5,120 samples delay which I calculate is around 106.6ms delay.

Thanks for any insight, advice or help anyne can offer.

+1 for this question.

I've now done a quick test in vMix 24.0.0.66 x64 by adding the TDR Kotelnikov plugin like 24x times (which has 3.833ms (184 samples) of delay each) and it then clearly resulted in the audio lagging about 92ms behind the video.
I used PhotoJoseph's 50.00 fps audio video sync test for this test, and interestingly I had to adjust the audio an additional -20ms offset with & without the VST3 plugins to get my recording in sync.
