I'd love a blur option, but it doesn't look promising from my forum search.

Wondering if an image with (partial?) transparency might provide a suitable alternative? Something like textured glass.

Also, I'm not sure how to create or generate such a thing, but willing to learn. Please share any thoughts or pointers toward this goal.
