it is now possible to select a default behavior for a capture input when you click on it. this way you can cut or fade an input directly from the list of inputs.

but what to do when you don't want to use the default? what if you want to use a different behavior. the input has to be in the preview in order to select that option. how do you get it there?

it would be an addition to be able to select a different behavior, p.e. by right clicking on the input bar on top of the input and be able to have additional options like putting the input in preview. there is no other way to get it there once you changed the default.
