I want to control an input (powerpoint slides) in the preview window and send those slides to a projector while simultaneously livestreaming diferent camera inputs from the output window. The problem I have is every time I transition an input(diferent camera) into the output window, the current input (camera) in the output window automatically switches to the preview window and disrupts what I am outputting to the projector from the preview window

So how do you stop an input that is exiting the output from going to the preview window?

Another solution would be to dedicate an input window on top left instead of preview. That way it will be large enough to read slides and keep up with changing slides. I am running vMix 4K from a laptop so I don't think external output is an option. Vmix is running on display 1 and projector on display 2 (in extended mode).

Configure one of your outputs(2-4), to the ppoint input. Send that via NDI to studio monitor on the HDMI output of your gpu. Set your control shortcuts to the ppoint input. Just one way to achieve what you want. You can also set the fullscreen output for display 2 to be the point. Use fullscreen dropdown at top of screen.
