I have a Windows Forms Application that I would like to be able to update the text in an "xaml" file and have it automatically updated by vMix. As an example I would like my application to change the text in the example below from "Welcome to vMix" to something else and have it rendered without the need to interact with vMix. Is this possible? I did think my application may be able to send key strokes to vMix in order to display the changed text.
<TextBlock x:Name="textBlock" Height="37.5" TextWrapping="Wrap" Text="Welcome to vMix!" Foreground="White" FontFamily="Century Gothic" FontSize="29.333" FontWeight="Bold" Canvas.Left="16.5" Canvas.Top="18.5" Width="539" RenderTransformOrigin="0.5,0.5">

Has anyone successfully implemented such a custom WPF control, yet? I'd LOVE to do some work on this. Unfortunately I haven't worked with WPF at all so far.
So if anyone could provide a hint on how to do this, I'm willing to dig into this.
For example I could imagine writing a control that allows you to choose from a list of text blocks. This would let you set up a list of text elements your going to use throughout the production before going live. Then, you just have to select one - no worry about typos or not being ready at time anymore.
Also, I'd be glad to write a detailed tutorial for further usage.
I guess this is something any advanced user of vMix could benefit of. :)

Selectable text presets for the Titles seems easy enough. I'll see if it can be included in the next release.

Thank you for this! :)
Anyway, is there a howto or maybe a small example control displaying "hello world" or anything that shows us how to write custom controls? :) I simply love adding my own piece of code to apps.
As I stated before: a short example will be enough. I'm willing to provide a tutorial in exchange for this so others can benefit from that. Maybe then we could open up something like a Plugin-Section for titles if there's the demand for it. :)
E.g. one could write a ticker for news from stock exchange, twitter or anything. Or another scenario: allowing somebody on a second computer to care about certain content on the screen. So you don't have to do anything on your own: check recordings, direct inputs, care about titles and stuff ...
Hopefully I've been able to point out some of the benefits of this. :)
Regards, mh166
