We are organizing all our projects in our Office365 Sharepoint and it works well for syncing data between different systems. Normally when I have an Excel file it get's synced through Office365 very quickly. So I thought it a good idea to use Excel as a datasource and edit live on another computer. But as soon as vMix opens the Excel as a datasource the syncing with the cloud stops. Any idea for a workaround?

I ran into a similar problem when my spreadsheet was shared using OneDrive. In my case, if I opened the spreadsheet in Excel after vMix was brought up vMix would loose connection to the data source. I suspect there is some sort of file locking mechanism that comes into play when Excel opens a file that is hosted on OneDrive. In my case I found that if I used LibreOffice Calc instead of Excel to edit the file I did not run into the same locking issues, and vMix was able to retain the connection to the datasource. Hope this helps!
