I Am looking at using a Sony BR300 to control my cameras. Does anyone have any experience using the tally/contact function. This function is supposed to switch camera on the joystick automatically when selected on the mixer. I'm not sure how to interface it with software.

A device would have to be built to do this. If I were trying to build one, I'd use an Arduino or Raspberry Pi with a program to poll the current input from the vMix API's XML readout. From there, the pins would be configured per the Sony tally contact closure specification.

Let me know if I explained this badly.
