Midi controller button as switch, not as push button.
When I press it once I activate a function as ON, and when I press it again it goes to OFF. For example Sharpen ON/ OFF with the same button.

Check the Shortcut Function Reference, some are toggle functions. If not one can always script them

Some Midi controllers may require a configuration change to do this. For example, by default, my Korg NanoKontrol only sent a Midi Note event when pushing and releasing buttons. After changing the configuration using the Korg software, buttons now send separate 'Midi Note On' and 'Midi Note Off' events, which can be linked to different shortcuts in vMix for On/Off functions.
