my device volume in the audio settings is changing during my recordings. It changes if the voices are too loud for exemple but it takes a decent time to adapt, like it went from 96% to 86% plus it does it without any imput from me, so i have to manually put it back to 96% constanlty. but i have to open the audio settings of the source evry time so each itteration i got 5 to 7 sec of audio with less volume than the rest of the recordinng
If i use the automatic gain control it stops but the gain is way too loud and im getting noise.
Does someone have any ideas how can i fix this or lock de device volume ?

Some screen grabs of what it is you're having to adjust might be useful.

This section pictured. One change the device volume to about 60% to reduce line noise I noticed during my recording it will automatically go up to 90 or 100%.. I constantly have to reduce the device volume, but it continually increases.

Hi,

The Device Volume does not get changed by vMix by itself.
What is likely happening is you have other audio conferencing software on the computer at the same time such as Skype, Teams etc which has been set to use that microphone also
and has its own automatic volume control enabled.

To avoid this, close that other software, and if that is not possible, then turn off the automatic volume control feature of that software.

Regards,

Martin
