I have two NDI-HX video inputs and one NDI Scan Converter video input. Audio is not an issue here. I'm outputting the video to Zoom running on the same computer. I can use EXTERNAL to output the video and have Zoom "see" it as an available camera, or I can have vMix output the NDI and then pick it up in Zoom via NDI Virtual Input. To my thinking, direct EXTERNAL video feed to Zoom should avoid several NDI hops and would be the way to go. But, are there hidden factors that I need to consider that would make the extra NDI hops preferable?

The less hops the less problems.
