I had let a friend borrow my machine, he had re-aligned inputs in settings, and this of course saved to VMIX. When I started a new VMIX project to record a funeral, I was able to bring in my two cameras, so I only had two inputs. He had settings turned on to record input 9 from a previous show. I did not notice this, so when I hit record, everything looked like it should, the file was going to the correct place and the record button was red. However, since I did not have an input 9 on this show, all that was recorded was audio.

Is it possible to throw some kind of error or warning if the default Program is not being recorded, or if what you are recording does not exist?

I just don't want this to happen to anyone else.
