Hi all, been using vMix for a while and have asked questions before but with all of the stuff behind vmix I'm yet to walk the road for a while.
My setup MoBo ASUS Sabertooth Z77 CPU Intel core i7 3770 (yes old) RAM 32GB HD 2 128GB SSDs Video nVidia RTX 2060 Super 6GB RAM Windwos 10 Pro Capturecard Cloner Alliance Box Pro (latency sucks) Audio Behringer XR18 mixer MIDI Controller AKAI Mini Cameras 1 Canon SL3 2 Logi c922, I mostly use the canon. Lots of shorcuts and activators (these make loading very slow)
what I do: Normally Talking head videos like the fun time live show and a livestream on Wednesdays to restream.io (Youtube and FB).
Inputs well over 80 and counting: the capture card and many sound effects and some videos I use as commercials.
I stream at 720p@30fps 3.5 mbps, audio 128k
Issues: a few streams back I've had a lot of frame drops, the video has become laggish and restream reports that I have keyframe wrong and under the profile I see keyframe set to 2. This happens only when livestreaming, recording works fine.
Tests: Clean preset with two cams, sent directly to YouTube, worked fine for a 13 minute unlisted stream.
My solution: so I'm concerned and I've decided to start all over creating my preset using playlist/lists.
Questions/requests: I want to know how can I make my PC work better (upgrading not viable yet) if using playlists or lists (clarification requested) so i reduce the amount of inputs?.
Lists break the purpose of the controller leds, so any solution on tha_
What is my best option to control INPUTS form the AKAI when tehy belong to lists, assigning multiple functions to the same keys? (doing so at the moment).
Oh, additionally, what is the best way to transition/merge back from a playlist element automatically after it finishes. If I go the Playlist way?.
Many thanks
