Hi, I've got an issue streaming to livestream where viewers hear the same audio twice like an echo.
My rig is as follows:
Dell quad core laptop with latest version of vmix.
Canon HV40 camera (connected via firewire)
Roland Duo capture ex external USB audio device that takes a feed from an in house mixing desk where available (via XLR).
The camera is added as normal with audio set to none. I have the Roland USB audio input set as a separate audio device.
Recording audio is also set to the Roland Duo Capture ex device.
The recording seems fine but on livestream I have this doubling up or "echo".
Can anyone shed any light on this? I'm a novice to this and completely stumped.

Make sure the live stream software is using only the virtual output from Vmix and not the speakers to.

I assume this will cause the issue? Probably. Select only the vMix Audio input in the live stream software. Best thing TBH is to use the encoder in vMix with livestream's RTMP link. Less to go wrong.

It was the livestream app. The "Speaker Audio" is the output from vmix which is perfectly in sync with the video (with a 900ms delay on audio from Roland USB). The Roland was showing up in the livestream mixer and pumping out without the delay. I muted it from the livestream software mixer leaving just the speaker audio and the echo went away instantly. I'm cooking on gas now :) Thanks guys, you might just have helped us secure independence for Scotland here :) I'm using this software to bypass the British media and broadcast public meetings to the people that they won't air. The ability to live stream to a decent level is helping us no end. Saor Alba
